Meet Sophia
SOCIAL MEDIA AND MARKETING
Sophia is a native New Yorker who has been learning the ins and outs of the city’s real estate since market she was old enough to hold her head up. A graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, she is now proud to be working alongside her mother who is recognized as one of the most successful and respected residential real estate brokers in Manhattan.
After graduating from the University of St Andrews in Scotland with a dual honours degree in Comparative Literature and Social Anthropology and specific focus on the dynamic between media and mental health, Sophia returned to New York to officially join Compass and her mother’s team as Social Media and Marketing Manager. Since joining the team in 2019 she has increased web traffic over 250% and successfully navigated the team through transactions in excess of $30 million in 2021, alone.
In addition to real estate, Sophia is an avid traveler. She has studied in the UK, visited numerous countries including Iceland, Ireland and Japan, volunteered in South America and recently completed a coast to coast road trip in the US. She loves meeting new people, and going on adventures – particularly to explore the many hidden treasures of NYC. Easily adaptable, She moves fluidly through the city’s constantly evolving markets to look for fresh opportunities. A true expert in Downtown real estate, Sophia intimately knows numerous neighborhoods across Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx and Queens, and utilizes her knowledge in order to better service the teams diverse clientele and listings.
