This Privacy Policy explains how Caryl Berenato, a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Compass ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit carylberenato.com (the "Site") or contact us through it. Real estate brokerage services are provided through Compass, and Compass's own privacy practices may also apply to information you share in the course of a transaction.
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your inquiry.
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, the links you click, referring web addresses, and approximate location.
The Site uses third-party visitor-identification and audience technology provided by Audience Lab ("idpixel"). This technology may collect device, browser, and behavioral information and may match or resolve that information to identify individual visitors and associate them with contact or profile data for advertising and marketing purposes. Under certain U.S. state privacy laws, this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (see Section 5).
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and support our marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how parts of the Site function. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by law.

You have the right to opt out. To do so, email caryl.berenato@compass.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser, which we will treat as a valid opt-out request where required by law.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain our client relationships, and to meet legal, tax, and regulatory requirements, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
